Exciting News:

Melbourne Ministry Time (Sep 08)
A team of 5 folk from Northridge travelled to Life to The Nations Church in Melbourne, led by the amazing Matt & Elodie Doty. The youth night was an amazing time of entering into deeper realms of worship with young people encouraged to throw their watches, mobiles and PDAs up on the stage and seek Jesus. But God had even more in store for us on Sunday. After preaching on the 'unseen realm' God in His goodness allowed us a taste of His Kingdom on earth. Children prayed for the sick and saw the Holy Spirit flow powerfully, gold dust appeared on the auditorium floor at the front and fell on people's shoulders, faces, hands etc. Oil also was on a few people's hands and as they prayed for people God's power just intensified. What better way to spend Father's Day then soaking in His presence and enjoying His manifest glory. We were blown away by His immense love for his children and his desire to win hearts and captivate His bride again. Better than all the manifestations (which only point to the Creator Himself) was the focus on Jesus in worship as the Holy Spirit moved. God is always the focus and we are hungry for HIM. However he chooses to come is up to Him, so long as He comes.
Thank you Lord for being so awesome!

The Burn Service... (August '08)
Our first BURN with Gateway Church was an amazing time of passionate, raw and soaking worship, prayer and prophecy for our city. It was great mixing flavours and worship teams...why is it that every time we pull out "Rain Down" by Delirious that it actually DOES pour down here in Adelaide?

What an incredible week in the presence of God! So many testimonies of healings, signs & wonders, salvations, and a new hunger/expectation being stirred in the hearts of believers everywhere. One of the key moments was a prophetic word spoken by Isi DeGersigny over Mark which had some very exciting news for us as a church about what the future holds and is backed by what we are already seeing taking place. CAMP ARISE '08 (26-29 April 2008)
Northridge Youth Camp was a massive success.
40 young people between the ages of 12-18 gathered for what was an electric time in God's presence, intense fun and great company! Camp Cuisine ala Ian & Kerryn, & Marta made life at camp feel more like a five star resort. Every young person had God speak words over their lives that were specific and encouraging and the ministry times with Baz Rainbow (Victory Church) & Dave Hagger (Coastlands) took the place to another level!
4 young people got baptised and publicly declared their devotion to Jesus Christ...YAY GOD! Thanks so much to all the youth leaders who ran the events and took kids under their wings and to Josh & Georgia for making the camp possible...Shine On!

BUILDING FUND (17 Feb 2008)
We have recently announced our new
'BUILDING FOR THE FUTURE FUND'
Our dream is to create a centre from which all our operations will be based. We desire to establish a permanent resource to enrich the community.
We dream of a place that can accommodate the young, old and all in-between and yet facilitate on-going events that will engage and include a diverse cross-section of people from the community.
We dream that Northridge would be a enduring force within Adelaide for many years to come, so that generations of present and future 'Adelaide-ians' will be touched by Who God is, and What He is doing!
To get behind this venture, for now you can use the ORANGE construction envelopes (located on the visitors table) and soon we will make the account details available to make it even easier to sow into the project.

HAND-OVER CELEBRATIONS

My friends, 6 years ago 20 adults and 7 children embarked upon an exciting journey from Coastlands International Christian Centre to plant a new church in the North of Adelaide. After out-growing the meeting venue in Wynn Vale and moving to the more spacious surrounds of Greenwith, in its seventh year the reigns of leadership were passed on from Colin & Leonie to their son Mark. Dudley so wonderfully reminded us that even though change can pose a challenge for some, we are part of Christ's church - bought by His blood - And He is building it, not us! We are mere men, servants at very best who plant and water but GOD makes things grow! So as we remember what God has done for us in the past with sheer amazement and unbridled delight, our hearts can't help but be stirred with anticipation as we head toward the future He has prepared for us. We stand in the light of many incredible promises but desire to make the most of the NOW and enjoy the journey, not striving for tomorrow at the expense of today. THIS is the day He has made, their are a million reasons to rejoice and be thrilled in it!
